Ingredients:
- Meat tuna chunks in oil 1 packet
- Breaded fish fillets hot and spicy 1 packet
- Breaded prawns 1 packet
- Spring onions (thickly sliced) 2
- Carrot (peeled, sliced) 1
- Milk 2 cups
- Dried bay leaf 1
- Butter 1/4 cup
- Plain flour 2 tbsp
- Thickened cream 1/2 cup
- Bell peppers (sliced) 1 cup
- Egg (lightly whisked) 1
- Salt, pepper to taste
- Ready Rolled Puff Pastry 1 1/2 sheets
Method:
Preheat oven to 200C. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Then add the flour. Cook, stirring for about 2 mins or until mixture bubbles. Now add bay leaf, salt, pepper and milk. Cook, stirring constantly for about 5 mins or until sauce boils and thickens. Then remove from heat and set aside for about 15 mins to cool. Now coarsely flake the meat tuna chunks, fish fillets and prawns. Fry them and add to the cooled sauce. Then also add cream, bell papers, carrot and spring onion. Now season with salt and pepper. Then Spoon into an 8-cup (2L) baking dish. Place on a baking tray. Now place the whole pastry sheet over the filling to enclose lightly brush pastry with egg. Then cut 1 fish shape from the remaining pastry. Now arrange the fish and over the pie. Then lightly brush the pastry with egg. Bake until crisp and golden. Lastly serve hot.
Ingredients:
- Boiled potato (mashed) 1/2 cup
- Semolina (roasted) 1/2 cup
- Oil 1tsp
- All spice powder ½ tsp
- Black pepper 2 pinches
- Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
- Dried mango powder 1/2 tsp
- Black caraway seeds 1tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- water 1 cup
For Mayo Ketchup Sauce:
- Mayonnaise garlic 3 tbsp
- Ketchup 3 tbsp
- Yellow mustard 2 tbsp
Method:
Boil the water in a wok, add oil and salt. Then add semolina into the boiled water and stir well. When the water gets absorbed by the rava, shift it into a plate. Now add dried mango powder, all spice powder, black pepper, red chili powder and two spoons of oil, cook well. Now add the cooked semolina into mashed potatoes. Mix well. Once the mixture has been well combined, portion it into small balls by rolling and cutting or Rub oil on the hands to get the perfect shape for the potato balls top with black caraway seeds. Now heat oil and deep fry the balls. Serve hot with Mayo Ketchup Sauce.
For Mayo Ketchup Sauce: Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and serve with crispy potato balls.
