Ingredients:
- Yogurt ½ kg
- Saffron 2 pinches
- lukewarm water 1 tbsp
- caster Sugar 5 tbsp
- Cardamom Powder 1-1/2 tsp
- Pistachios chopped 1 tbsp
- Almonds chopped 1 tbsp
- Pori to serve
- Almonds and pistachios to garnish
Method:
Mix yogurt in a bowl until smooth. Mix the saffron strands with the water. Add in the sugar, cardamom powder, saffron water. Also add in the crushed Pistachios and Almonds. Cool. Garnish the Shrikhand with some saffron and nuts. Serve with warm pori
Ingredients:
- Butter 1 cup
- Cocoa 1/4 cup
- Water 1 cup
- Flour 2 cups
- caster sugar 2 cups
- baking soda 1 teaspoon
- salt 1/2 teaspoon
- buttermilk 1/2 cup
- eggs 2
- vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
- red food color 3-4 drops
Frosting:
- Butter 1/2 cup
- Cocoa 1/4 cup
- Buttermilk 1/4 cup
- icing sugar 3-3/4 cups
- vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
- salt as required
- chopped almonds 3/4 cup
Method :
Melt butter, cocoa and water in a pan. Cool. Mix flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Add cocoa mixture and buttermilk; mix well. Beat in the eggs, vanilla and red coloring. Pour into a greased and floured rectangle baking pan. Bake at 180 degrees C until done about 20 minutes. For frosting, melt butter with cocoa and add buttermilk. Stir in the icing sugar, vanilla and salt. Spread over warm cake. Garnish with almonds.

- Chickpeas boiled ½ Cup
- Potato peeled & boiled 1
- Oil ¼ Cup
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder ½ tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Black peppercorns 8-10
- Green cardamoms 2
- Yogurt 3-4 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Chickpeas boiled 2 ½ Cup
- Red chilies crushed 1 tsp
- Dried mango powder 1 tbsp
- Black pepper powder ½ tsp
- coriander handful
- Ginger julienne 1 pieces
Method:
Mash chickpeas and potato and set aside. Heat oil, add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, cumin powder, black peppercorns, green cardamoms, yogurt and ginger garlic paste. Now add mashed potato chickpeas. Add boiled chickpeas and water and let cook. Add red chillies crushed and cover and cook for 6-8 minutes. In 3 tbsp water mix dried mango powder, black pepper powder and mix. Garnish with coriander, green chilies and ginger.
