Sajji Pulao is the perfect combination of rice and chicken with adequate amount of spices. This dish is very easy to make thanks to this recipe so do give it a try at home.

Ingredients:
- Whole chicken 1
- Ginger-garlic paste 2 tbsp
- White vinegar 4 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper 2 tsp
- Black cardamoms 4
- Cumin seeds 2 tsp
- Fennel seeds 1 tsp
- Coriander seeds 1 tsp
For Rice:
- Rice 2 cup
- Oil 1/4 cup
- Onions, sliced 2
- Garlic, chopped 4 cloves
- Salt to taste
- Cinnamon 1 piece
- Black cardamoms 2
- Green cardamoms 4
- Black pepper 1tsp
Method:
Mix vinegar, ginger-garlic paste, salt and pepper in a bowl. Place whole chicken in an oven proof dish, pour the vinegar marinade over chicken, rub it thoroughly all over it, even inside the cavity. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour
Preheat oven Roast all the spices on a skillet for 1-2 minutes. Grind all the spices
Rub half of the ground spices all over chicken, cover and bake for 1 hour. Uncover and bake for another 10-12 minutes or till the skin crisps up or the meat gets a golden color .For Rice: Heat oil in a deep pan, fry onions till golden brown along with whole spices add garlic, 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper, add 1/4 cup water and juices from the chicken sajji.Let the masala simmer till it turns a lovely golden brown shade, add rice and water and cook for until water evaporated .After an hour take out the chicken, spread cooked rice all around it and stuff some in the cavity. Sprinkle the remaining ground spices over chicken sajji, and serve hot.

- Beet root cubed 1/2 kg
- Tomatoes 2
- Red chili powder 1/2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1 Pinch
- Cumin 1tsp
Method:
In a wok add oil and add cumin then ginger garlic paste along with tomatoes n and all spices in to the oil and cook on high flame and add water and beet root cook until it’s done.
