Ingredients
- Clarified butter 1/3 cup
- Milk ¾ cup
- Milk Powder 2.5 cup
- Icing sugar ½ cup
- Cardamom powder ½ tsp
- Pistachio or Almonds for garnish
Method
In a pot low flame. Add Ghee, Milk, Milk powder, Icing sugar, Cardamom powder. And mix well till it form a dough. stir continuously till the dough separates.
(DO NOT OVER MIX ) it will turn chewy.
In a pirex greased dish make a block and add garnish. Now FREEZE. And cut into cubes. And serve.
Ingredients for marination
- Cottage cheese 1 pack
- Yogurt 4 tbsp
- Lemon juice 1 lemon
- Kashmiri red chili powder 1 tsp
- All spices powder ½ tsp
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- Salt as required
GRAVY
- Onion medium chopped 1
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Salt as required
- Chaat masala 1 tsp
- All spices powder 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Food color a pinch
- Water as required
- Tomato paste or tomatoes 2 large
- Cashew powder 6
- Bay leaf 2
- Cream for garnish
Method
In a bowl add paneer and marinate with all the seasonings
let it rest for 10mins then shallow fry till golden.
In a wok make gravy with all the seasonings and sauté well
on high flame. Serve with nan or rice.
