Ingredients:
- Boil chickpeas 2cups
- Beetroot boiled 1
- Lemon juice 2tbsp
- Tahini paste 2tbsp
- Garlic 4cloves
- Paprika 1tsp
- Olive oil 2tbsp
- Salt as required
- Black pepper powder 1tsp
- Pita bread for serving
- Sesame seeds to sprinkle
Method:
Add all the ingredients in a blender and blend well . Lastly garnish with chickpeas, sesame and olive oil and serve.
Ingredients for leaves:
- Taro leaves 6
- Gram flour 1cup
- Rice flour 1tbsp
- Carom seeds 1-1/2 tsp
- Salt, pepper, turmeric as required
- All spice 1tsp
- Ginger garlic ground 1tbsp
- Onion ground 1tbsp
- Oil for frying
Ingredients for gravy:
- Oil ¾ cup
- Dried fenugreek ½ tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
- Onion ground ½ cup
- Salt, pepper, turmeric as required
- Coriander 1tbsp
- Tomatoes ground 2
- Yogurt 2tbsp
- Dried fenugreek 1tsp
- Coriander to garnish
Method:
Wash the taro leaves, now soak all the ingredients in gram flour and make a thick mixture .now mix leaf of taro in gram flour mixture and keep other leaf on it. Now heat oil and fry the taro leaf, for gravy heat oil add fenugreek and fry well. Now add onion ground, ginger garlic paste, tomatoes , yogurt, coriander ,salt, pepper and turmeric and roast well. Now add 2 cups of water and add fenugreek, lastly dish out garnish with coriander and serve .
Ingredients for lentil:
- Pigeon peas 2cups
- Salt, pepper, turmeric as required
Ingredients to temper:
- Oil ½ cup
- Mustard 1tsp
- Peanuts 4tbsp
- Curry leaves 6-8
- Tomatoes 2
- Green chili, turmeric as required
- Tamarind pulp 1tbsp
- Red chili whole 2-3
Ingredients for dhokli:
- Plain flour 1cup
- Gram flour ½ cup
- Red chili powder 1tsp
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- Salt as required
- Oil 2tbsp
- All spice ½ tsp
- Cumin white 1tsp
- Carom seeds ½ tsp
Ingredients to serve:
- Chopped onion 1
- Coriander chopped as required
- Green chili 1
Method:
Cook pigeon peas with salt, pepper and turmeric , now combine all the ingredient of dholii in a bowl and kneed well . now roll and make pieces now add the cooked pigeon peas and cook for 10 min, to temper heat oil add curry leaves and fry , now add tomatoes, peanuts and rest of the ingredients , now add temper in cooked pigeon peas and cook 5 min more , lastly add chopped onion, coriander and green chilies and serve .
