What’s better than having Black Pepper Chicken & Garlic Fried Rice for a mid-week dinner dish? Making and having this dish is a stress reliever.

Ingredients:

 

  • Chicken cubes                ½ kg
  • Soy sauce                       2 tbsp
  • Oyster sauce                   3 tbsp
  • Sugar                             1 tsp
  • Butter                             2 tbsp
  • Vinegar                          2 tbsp
  • Corn flour                      1 tbsp
  • Water                             2 tbsp
  • Oil                                  ¼  cup
  • White pepper                  1tsp
  • Black pepper                  1tsp
  • Onion                             1
  • Bell peppers                   3
  • White rice                       to serve
  • Ginger garlic paste          1 tbsp

 

 

Method:

  • In a pan add oil. Once the oil gets hot, add the onions, bell papers peppers.
  • Fry for 30 seconds, then add garlic and ginger. Stir fry for another 30 seconds.
  • Add oil in another pan and cube-sized chicken.
  • Cook for 3 minutes or until chicken appears slightly golden.
  • Add oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, black pepper, white pepper and butter.
  • Stir the mixture well and cook it.
  • Then add the vegetables in it.
  • In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of corn flour and 2 tablespoons of water together; then add this to the pan. Stir for another minute.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Dish out and Serve hot.

  • Rice                                        3 cup
  • Nuggets                                ½ packet
  • Cabbage                                1 cup
  • Capsicums                            1 cup
  • Spring onions                      1 cup
  • Crushed garlic                     1 tbsp
  • Green Chili Paste                2 tsp
  • Chopped carrot                  3
  • Soy Sauce                             4 tbsp
  • Salt                                         1 tsp
  • Oil                                           3 tbsp
  • Spring onions                      for garnishing

 

 

Method:

  • Heat oil in a wok and fry garlic in it.
  • When the garlic gets fragrant, add cabbage, capsicums, green chili paste, carrot, black pepper, salt and mix.
  • Fry for 2 minutes and then add boiled rice, soy sauce, spring onion and mix it well.
  • Remove from the stove.
