Ingredients:
- Unsalted butter 250 gm
- Salt ¼ tsp
- Caster sugar 250 gm
- Eggs 4 – 5
- Vanilla essence 2 tsp
- Flour 250 gm
- Baking powder 2 tsp
- Milk 79 ml
Method:
Beat the butter and add sugar, salt and vanilla. Add the eggs, one at a time. Sift in the flour and baking powder alternating with the milk and do not over mix, put batter in a greased and lined tin and bake at 180 degrees C for 35 – 40 minutes, until the cake is baked through. Rotate the pan once halfway through the baking time. Let cool on wire rack.
Ingredients:
- Mutton minces 1/2 kg
- Green papaya paste 4 tsp
- Garlic minced 1 tsp
- Ginger 1 tsp
- All spice powder 1/2 tsp
- Mace powder a pinch
- kashmiri red chili powder a pinch
- Gram flour, roasted 2 tsp
- Saffron mixed in warm milk 2 tbsp
- Clarified butter 1 tbsp
- Onion paste, fried 2 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Rose water 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder a pinch
- Green cardamom powder a pinch
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Charcoal 1 piece
Method:
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Heat the charcoals add a bit of, Clarified butter place this in a piece of foil in the midst of the galouti kebab mixture cover and let it get the flavor for a few minutes. Remove charcoal and form into kebabs. Heat oil or Clarified butter and fry the kebabs till done. Serve hot.
