Daal Gosht is an ever so classic and traditional desi dish that there is always a room to have some more of it! Try it with this recipe and have daal gosht differently!

Ingredients:

  • Beef 450 gm
  • Gram lentil 150gm
  • Onions sliced 2
  • Tomatoes chopped 2
  • Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
  • Garlic chopped 4 cloves
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Green cardamoms 2-3
  • Cinnamon 2 inch
  • All spice powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili flakes 1 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Green coriander (chopped) 1/4 cup
  • Green chilies (sliced) 2 tbsp

Method:
In a large pot boil gram lentil with 1/2 tsp of turmeric then drain and set aside.
Now Heat oil in pan, fry onion with whole spices (bay leaf, cinnamon stick, green cardamom) for 2-3 mint.
Add beef cube, garlic, ginger, tomatoes and ground spices, cook on slow heat till qeema is done.
Add boiled Daal and 1/4 cup of water, mix and keep it for dum.
Dish it out and garnish with green chillies, coriander and sprinkle Taara garm masala on top.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Boiled Macaroni 1 packet
  • Crushed Red Chilies 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper 1 tsp
  • Chicken Cubes 1
  • Cream 1 packet
  • Finely Chopped Carrots 1 cup
  • Cabbage 1 cup
  • Capsicum 1
  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Coal 1 piece
  • Chopped Ginger Garlic 1 tsp

METHOD:
Heat 3 tbsp oil and add 1 tsp garlic. When aroma comes then add ½ cup water.
In water add 1 chicken cube, 1 tsp crushed red chilies, 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp crushed red chilies.
Then add 1 cup finely chopped carrots, 1 capsicum, 1 cup cabbage, and 1 packet boiled macaroni and turn off the stove. Then mix 1 packet cream and serve.
