Ingredients:
- Desi chicken (boiled) 300 gm
- Rice 400 gm
- Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
- Mix all spice (whole) 1tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Onions sliced 2 large
- Clarified butter 1/2 cup
- Tomatoes 3
- Green chilies 4
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder 2 tbsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- All spice powder 1 tbsp
Method:
Heat clarified butter in a pan, add the onions and fry the onions till they become golden brown. Then add the green chilies, all spice powder, boiled chicken, spices and tomato to the onions and sauté them until the tomatoes have become soft. Now add water and rice. Stir the rice and salt to taste in the pan. Cover the lid and cook the rice until done.
Ingredients:
- Split chickpeas 1 cup
- Tomatoes 2-3 medium
- Onion (fried) 1
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Tamarind paste 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Curry leaves 10-12
- Coriander leaves 1/4 cup
- Spinach chopped 1 (small)
- Clarified butter 1/4 c
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Garlic 4-5 cloves
- Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
- Oil as required
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
In a pan heat oil, add split chickpeas, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, ginger garlic paste and salt. Cook well. Then in a wok heat clarified butter, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, onion and garlic cloves. Cook till golden brown. Now add curry leaves and chopped tomatoes. Cook until tomatoes becomes mashy. Then add spinach and cook well. Now add tamarind paste and split chickpeas. Cook till it boils. Garnish with green coriander and serve hot.
