Ingredients:

  • Fish 1kg
  • Red chili powder 2tsp
  • Coriander powder 2tsp
  • Mustard paste 1tsp
  • Turmeric 2tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 2tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1tsp
  • Green coriander as required
  • Tomatoes 250 gm
  • Lemon 2
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Salt to taste

 

Method:
Marinate fish with ginger garlic paste , salt , mustard powder and lemon, now in a fry pan cook tomatoes , red chili powder , coriander powder , fenugreek , turmeric and salt , when oil comes on the surface add fish , lastly garnish with coriander and serve .

Ingredients:

  • Sarson ka Saag 2 kg
  • Batho Saag 1 kg
  • Fenugreek ½ kg
  • Garlic 1 bunch
  • Ginger 25 grams
  • Green Chilies 50 grams
  • Butter 200 grams
  • Corn flour ½ cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Chopped Ginger 1 tbsp
  • Crushed Red Chili 2 tsp
  • Oil as required

Method:
• In a saucepan boil sarson ka saag, batho saag, fenugreek along with green chilies.
• Cook until tender then add corn flour, salt. Stir constantly for while.
• Now heat oil and add garlic along with finely chopped ginger.
• Cook until the aroma is given out then add crushed red chili along with saag. Cook and sauté.
• Dish out and add tarka of butter and chopped ginger.
• Batho Saag is ready to serve.
