Ingredients
- Chicken 300 gm
- Tomatoes 3
- Yogurt 1/2 cup
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Cumin (whole) 1 tsp
- Black pepper 1/4 tsp
- All spice powder 1/4 tsp
- Green chillies (cut into half) 6-7
- Oil 3/4 cup
- Chicken cube 1
- For Garnishing
- Coriander leaves as required
- Ginger julienned as required
- Green chilli as required
Method
Add oil to the karahi now when its hot add chicken and fry. When it turns the color put salt and ginger garlic and fry again for a min then add green chilies. Fry chicken for a min with green chilies and then pour tomato purée. Cook chicken in putee fir 5 mins. Make sure the flame should be high. Once the oil comes up, take whole cumin and crushed it with your palm. It gives amazing aroma of karahi. And mix it. Then add whip yogurt, mix it and cook it for 4-5 mins. Stir it continuously and when the yogurt water is going dried up add black pepper and garam masala. Mix it well. Garnish with coriander, ginger and chilies. Enjoy with garma garam roti and yogurt salad.
Ingredients For Rice
- Rice 1 cup
- Cinnamons 2
- Cloves 3
- Cumin seeds 1tbsp
- Black cardamom 1
- Sugar for caramelising 3 tbsp
- Chicken powder 1tbsp
- Water as required
- Beef boti cut 350 gm
- Onion 1 big
- Yogurt ½ cup
- Salt 1tsp or as required
- Black pepper 1tbsp
- Garlic chopped 1tsp
- Add char masala cloves cinnamon black cardamom and cumin grind together
- Water as required
Other ingredients
- Carrot julienned 1
- Almonds roasted and skinless ¼ cup
- Soaked raisins ¼ cup
- Boiled eggs 1 to 2
- Coriander leaves as required
Method
For rice
Add oil to the pan now add sugar caramelise add hot water and bring it to boil add spices and chicken powder and rice cook it to 1/3.
Drain your rice and keep it aside.
For beef
Add oil to the pan then onion cook till translucent add garlic and beef cook it well. Mix salt, pepper and char masala with yogurt. Now add yogurt mix to the pan.
Cook on high flame for 1 min then lower the flames and let it form gravy.
For other ingredients
Roast carrots or fry them in little oil.
Add in almonds and raisins.
Now assemble
In a pot line rice then beef poke holes and add gravy.
Another layer of rice top it with carrots raisins and almonds cober and give it steam for 15 min until the rice soak all the gravy. Now serve with coriander on top.
