Ingredients:

  • Rice ½ kg
  • Jaggery 750 gm
  • Desiccated Coconut as required
  • Water 1 cup
  • Clarified butter ½ cup
  • Green cardamom 4
  • Fennel 2 tbsp
  • Mix dry fruits 1 cup

 

Method:
In a pan add water, jaggery, cardamom, fennel and dry fruits mix and make syrup. then add clarified butter and boiled rice and leave on dum for half an hour then add desiccated coconut add and serve.

Ingredients:

  • Beef (boiled) ½ kg
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Onions 2
  • Green chilies 4
  • Tomatoes ½ kg
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Fresh coriander ½ bunch
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
  • Cumin 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 ½ tsp

 

Method:
In a wok heat oil and fry the onions. Then add ginger garlic paste, coriander seeds, cumin, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili flakes and salt. Cook well. Now add boiled beef and tomatoes. Cover and cook for about 20 minutes. Then add yogurt and cook properly for 5 minutes. Also add lemon juice, green chilies, fresh coriander, black pepper powder and all spice powder. Lastly serve hot.

  • Taro 1/2 kg
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Onions (sliced) 2
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Curry leaves 6
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Nigella seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Fennel seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Garlic 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter 1 tsp
  • Green chilies 6
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

 

Method:
Cut taro root and fry it well. Then remove and set aside. Now heat oil and butter add mustard seeds, nigella seeds, fennel seeds, fenugreek seeds and curry leaves. Fry well. Then add sliced onions and sauté well. Now add red chili powder, turmeric powder, garlic and salt. Cook well. Then add tomatoes and fried taro root. Cook properly. Lastly add green chilies and garnish with fresh coriander. Serve hot.
