Ingredients:
- White lentil flour 250 gm
- Yogurt ½ kg
- Salt 1 tsp
- Chaat masala 1 tsp
- Soda ½ tsp
- Caster sugar 4 tbsp
- Crushed red pepper tsp
- Dahi bara masala to taste
- Red chutney as required
- Green chutney as required
- Papri as required
Method:
Put white lentil flour in a bowl. Add in salt and water. Mix well and beat well. Leave it for 15 mins. Then add soda. Heat oil in a frying pan and make baras and put in frying pan to fry. Remove and soak in lukewarm water for 15 mins. Remove from water and press to remove water. Mix yogurt with salt and sugar. Put baras in a dish. Spread with yogurt. Top with prepared chutney. Sprinkle chaat masala. Garnish with chopped coriander, green chilies and papri. Serve chilled.

- Flour 1 cup
- Eggs 1
- Thai Green Curry Paste 2 tsp
- Coconut Milk 5 tbsp
- Sweet Corns 200 g
- Spring Onions 2
- Coriander Leaves 1 tbsp
- Mint Leaves 1 tbsp
- Red Chili Flakes ¼ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
METHOD :
In a food processor, add the flour, egg, curry paste, coconut milk and about half of the sweet corn and process until smooth.
Finely chop spring onions and mix into the batter. Add the remaining sweet corns, chopped coriander and mint leaves. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add red chilli flakes.
Heat the oil and fry in batches and cook for 2 minutes each side until light brown and crispy.
