Ingredients:
- Potatoes, peeled cubed and boiled 3
- Carrot, blanched 1
- Eggs, hard boiled 2
- Apple chopped 1
- Bologna or salami few slices
- Pickled cucumbers 3
- Green peas ½ cup
- Mayonnaise 4-5 tbsp
- Dill for garnish
- Tabasco a dash
- Mustard paste 1 tbsp
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped cucumber 1 small
Method:
Mix boiled potatoes with blanched diced carrots, apple and hard boiled eggs. Add in sliced salami or bologna. Add salt and pepper, pickled cucumbers, green peas, mayonnaise, mustard paste, chopped cucumber, mix the salad. Chill the salad before serving and garnish with dill.
Ingredients:
- Unsalted butter 125g
- Flour 100g
- Cornflour 1 tbsp
- Baking powder 1/2 tsp
- Caster sugar 80g
- Eggs 2
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Milk 2 tablespoons
- Vanilla essence 1/4 teaspoon
- Raisins 1/4 cup
- Flour 1 tablespoon
Method:
Mix the flour, salt and the baking powder together. Beat butter and sugar until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time. Add in vanilla essence and fold in the flour, add in the milk and fold in the raisins mixed with a tbsp of flour. Pour the mixture into a greased and lined pan. Bake at 180 degrees C about 30-35 minutes.
