Ingredients:

  • Mix fresh fruit 2 cups

For The Crust:

  • Flour 1 ½ cup
  • Salt 1/8 tsp
  • Caster sugar ½ cup
  • Butter (chilled) ½ cup
  • Egg 1 (large)
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp

For Pastry Cream:

  • Sugar ¼ cup
  • Flour 1 tbsp
  • Corn starch 2 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Butter 3 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence ½ tsp

For Glaze:

  • Jam ½ cup
  • Warm water 2 tbsp

 

Method:
For the crust add all the dry ingredients, mix well. Then add egg, butter and sugar. Mix well. Now prepare the dough and spread it in 9 inch tart tray. Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Allow it to cool. For the pastry cream add corn starch, flour, sugar and egg. Mix well. Then add this mixture in the milk and cook well. Now add butter and vanilla essence. Cook until it becomes thick. Then allow it to cool and place cling on it. Now on chilled tart add pastry filling and mix fresh fruit. For the glaze mix jam and warm water together. Mix well and add it to the tart. Serve hot.

Ingredients For Marination:

  • Chicken ½ kg
  • Yogurt ½ kg
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Red chili 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon juice 1 tsp

For Kolhapuri Masala:

  • Oil ½ cup
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Cinnamon 2 pieces
  • Cloves 6
  • Black pepper (crushed) ½ tsp
  • Onions (medium) 2
  • Coconut (grated) 2 tsp
  • Tomato (large) 1
  • Fresh coriander 1 tsp
  • Sesame seeds 1 ½ tsp
  • Poppy seeds 1 ½ tsp

Method:
In a bowl add all the marination ingredients and marinate the chicken. Set aside. Then in a pan add sesame seeds, poppy seeds and grated coconut. Roast and grind it. Now heat oil and sauté onion. Then add all spice, tomato puree and roasted masala. Cook well. Now add marinated chicken and cook properly. Once the chicken gets tender remove it from stove. In the end add fresh coriander and serve hot.
