Ingredients:

  • Tikka boti shredded 1packet
  • Potatoes 2 boiled and mashed
  • Bread slices 2 soaked in ¼ cup milk
  • Chickpeas soaked and boiled 2 cups
  • Ketchup 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • All spice ½ tsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Chat masala ½ tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Bread crumbs as required
  • Ice cream sticks as required

Method:

Grind the boiled Chickpeas to a paste, mixed with boiled potatoes, soaked bread, egg, ketchup, salt, all spice, chat masala, crushed red pepper,and tikka boti shredded make balls and insert a ice cream stick in each, flatten the ball on the stick shallow fry in the oil till light golden along with the stick in hot oil one at a time.

Ingredients:

  • Butter cake 1 pound
  • Coffee 1 tbsp
  • Water ¾ cup
  • Cream cheese 200 gm
  • Fresh cream whipped 200 gm
  • Caster sugar ½ cup
  • Chocolate syrup ½ cup
  • Crunchy chocolate 2 bars finely chopped

 

Method:

In a small cup combine coffee and warm water and keep aside, cut pound cake into slices, place cake pieces on bottom and sides of 9 inch deep pie plate, drizzle coffee over cake pieces, in medium bowl beat together cream cheese, sugar and chocolate syrup until smooth, add whipped cream, spread filling evenly into pie plate, sprinkle with chopped crunchy chocolate, chill until firm.

Ingredients:

  • Split Bengal gram 250 gm
  • Split red gram ¼ cup
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp heaped
  • Dried fenugreek 1 tsp
  • Ghee 1 tbsp

Ingredients for tarka:

  • Clarified butter ½ cup
  • Onion 2 tbsp chopped
  • All spice ½ tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • White cumin whole ½ tsp
  • Ginger 1 tsp finely chopped
  • Crushed garlic 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes 2 finely chopped
  • Coriander powder ½ tsp
  • Mango powder ½ tsp
  • Green chilies 4 whole

 

Method:

Soak both the daal for 15 minutes add 4 cups water to daals with salt, turmeric, kasuri methi and ghee, cook for 30 minutes until tender, slightly beat the daal with a whisk, prepare tarka by heating ghee in a karhai, add cumin seeds, chopped garlic, slightly brown add onion, stir until golden add tomatoes and chopped ginger stir for 5 minutes and chili powder, all spice, coriander powder, khati powder, fry for 5 minutes till tomatoes blend well with masala on low heat, add green chilies mix well, pour over hot daal, serve hot.
