SAVIYOON KA ZARDA
Ingredients:
Vermicelli ½ kg
Condensed Milk 1 tin
Water 1 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Clarified/ oil 1 cup
Saffron a pinch
Small cardamom 6
Chopped almond 10
Chopped pistachio 10
Sugar 1 tsp
Yellow food color ½ tsp
Silver paper as required
Method:
Mix sugar and cardamom and grind it. Take some oil in the pan, add in 1 cup clarified butter in the pan, add on cardamom powder and mix it. Add in ½ kg vermicelli and cook it. Add in sugar and cook it. Cook till the water dries and add in a pinch of saffron. Add in almonds and pistachio. Dissolve color in milk and add it in th vermicelli. Dish it out cool it and serve.
