Ingredients:
- Chicken 2 breasts sliced into fingers and then halves
- Garlic powder 1 tsp
- Siracha sauce 3 tbsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Crushed red pepper 1tsp
- Vinegar 2 tbsp
Ingredients for Batter:
- Egg 1
- Salt pepper ½ tsp each
- Baking powder ½ tsp
- Flour ½ cup
- Corn flour 2 tbsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Chilled water to make batter
METHOD:
Marinate chicken strips with the given ingredients for 30 mins, make batter, dip in prepared batter, deep fry for 5 mins, remove and re-fry once again till golden and crisp, serve with sweet chili sauce.
Ingredients:
- Potatoes 4 cut in wedges and par boiled for 5 mins
- Oil 2 tbsp + for deep frying
- Corn flour 4 tbsp
- Onion ½ cup chopped
- Garlic crushed 1 tbsp heaped
- Spring onion 1 chopped
- Button red chilies 4
- Sambal oleak 2 tbsp
- Soya sauce 1 tbsp
- Sugar 1 tbsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Vinegar 1 tbsp
- Sweet chili sauce 3 tbsp
- Chili garlic sauce 2 tbsp
- Siracha sauce 2 tbsp
METHOD:
Make thick wedges for potatoes, par boil for 5 mins, drain and cool, dust them with 3 tbsp corn flour, deep fry for 5 mins till golden and crisp, remove. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok, add button red chilies, chopped onion, crushed garlic, fry for 2 mins, add in sambal oleak with ¼ cup water, all the sauces, sugar, salt, stir for 2 mins, add fried potatoes, mix well, thicken mixture with corn flour paste, serve garnished with spring onions finely chopped.
Ingredients:
- Fried prawns 1 packet
- Oil for frying
Method:
In a wok heat oil and fry the fried prawns. Lastly serve hot.
