There is no better desi appetizer than Seekh kababs and this recipe has the classic touch of tomatoes, garlic, green chilies and brown onions.
Ingredients for Seekh Kabab:
- Chicken mince ½ kg
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Green chilies 6 grinded
- Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
- Brown onion ½ cup
- Cumin roasted n crushed 1 tsp
- Black pepper ½ tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Tomatoes 4-5 sliced
- Lagan
- Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
- Chopped green chilies 3
- Chopped mint leaves 2 tbsp
- Tomato slices ½ kg
Ingredients for Temper
- Olive oil ¼ cup
- Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
- Roasted cumin crushed 1 tsp
- All spices powder ¼ tsp
METHOD:
- Layer a sauté pan with sliced tomatoes and let it cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Chop mince in a chopper and add in ginger garlic paste, green chilies, crushed red pepper, brown onion, salt and pepper. Mix all these ingredients in a chopper.
- Prepare kababs and place them on top of the sliced tomatoes.
- Let the kababs properly cook, then add a piece of coal for aroma. Cover it with a lid.
- In the mean time, prepare everything for tempering and when it’s done, temper the kababs dish.
- Add mint leaves, green chilies and all spices powder on top.
METHOD FOR TEMPERING:
- Heat olive oil in a pan, add crushed garlic, when light golden add crushed cumin, pour on seekh kabab and serve.
